Moving house, reflections on Day One.

We have packed up so much gear! Unfortunately, the tenant in the house prior to us moving in was supposed to of had her stuff out by today, and was also suposed to get the keys to the place back to the property manager and she did not end up doing this. So, Mum and I sit here with boxes and bags of things ready to be taken to the new place, and have no access to the front door to do it.

Other than that, there's not really much to say about it. Mum is a little blue about the scenario, only because we have been in this place so long. She says she will miss the garden the most.

I on the other hand am still excited about getting things over to the new place and setting things up. The only thing that does not excite me is the thought of calling Telstra, Ergon, Internode and all of the other service providers to change addresses and get services transfered. At least some of that can be done via the internet.

That is all I have for now. Photos of the move so far are scattered throughout my Flickr, and I will add them to sets for easier navigation soon.
